Designed with Chip-on-Board (COB) packaging and multiplexed LED driving, LCD281 delivers a true black HDR experience with reduced blooming (halo effect), exceptional efficiency, and a thinner module design.
The LCD281 is built for environments where every pixel matters. What sets LCD281 apart is the intelligence behind the light. 1000 precisely controlled dimming zones work in concert with advanced backlight algorithms to achieve deep blacks and brilliant highlights, while reducing halo and blooming effects that plague conventional Mini-LED solutions.
“The halo and blooming performance of the LCD281 is a function of the LED, its encapsulation, the film stack, and the single LED zone control,” said Jesse Henrikson, VP of Engineering at LTS. “Multiplexing is a way to achieve single LED zone control with fewer driver ICs — which makes the design thinner and more practical for integration at reduced cost.”
Thanks to COB design with multiplexed LED driving, LCD281 not only improves performance but also delivers practical advantages — fewer driver ICs, slimmer module design, and better thermal behavior.
