Our new Embedded Display Solutions offering brings together pre-integrated display, SOM, and carrier/driver board platforms designed to accelerate development and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO). Backed by our U.S.-based engineering and global manufacturing teams, we provide SOM-agnostic, ready-to-deploy display solutions that eliminate compatibility challenges, shorten prototyping cycles, and simplify system integration. We offer three tiers to meet different needs: Value, Performance, and Premium. Custom NPI LCM and OLED

At Lincoln Technology Solutions, our focus is on delivering complete display module solutions. Our team of display experts takes pride in designing and developing high-end custom backlight solutions, paired with world-class LCD cells to provide module solutions that lead the industry in product performance. Extensive collaboration among our engineering, quality, and manufacturing experts allows us to provide high-performing LCD and OLED display modules of unparalleled quality. With in-house semiautomatic bonding capabilities and well-developed relationships with a global supply base, LTS has the capabilities to develop and manufacture custom products to meet the needs of any application.

Full Array Local Dimming (FALD)

Since 2018, LTS has been at the forefront of advancing Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) display technology. Our FALD LCD technology boasts exceptional optical performance with extreme contrast for stunning visual clarity. The deep blacks and vibrant whites of our FALD displays make them perfectly suited for demanding use cases, including outdoor applications. We have extensive experience developing FALD displays in a broad range of sizes from 6 inches to 48 inches for a variety of applications and industries including broadcast, medical, and automotive.

Interface and Video Bridge Electronics

Leveraging our hardware, firmware, and FPGA design competencies, we design and manufacture interfacing solutions ranging from simple adapter boards to complex video-bridging interfaces. Our design portfolio includes a carrier board for the Raspberry PI CM4 module used to drive our 7-inch MIPI LCD display. We’ve also designed display port video bridging with Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) driver capability on the Intel Cyclone. Lincoln Technology Solutions is a licensee of Intel DisplayPort IP.

Backlight Design for High-Bright, Ultra-Bright, and Wide Gamut

At LTS, exceeding customer expectations is the norm, not the exception. We constantly push the boundaries of power efficiency, brightness, and color gamut. Our ultra-bright sunlight-readable displays are capable of 3500+ nits with industry-leading power efficiency. We’ve also perfected our QDEF technology to deliver 99%+ DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. EOL Drop-In Replacement Designs

The display industry is fast-moving and LCD and OLED products often have relatively short lifecycles. This can create sudden production disruptions, but LTS can help you manage product obsolescence without skipping a beat. LTS can design drop-in replacements for end-of-life (EOL) display products to keep your production lines moving. Our partnerships with global LCD cell and OLED manufacturers give us access to critical display components that aren’t available on the open market and our highly skilled engineers are experts at designing within the tight constraints required for an EOL project.

Display Metrology

Lincoln Technology Solutions has extensive optical measurement capabilities to support the development of our industry-leading displays. Our colorimeters, spectroradiometers, and vision inspection equipment allow us to assess display quality and performance with the precision expected of a world-class display manufacturer. The expert staff at LTS provides complete optical characterization reports and results interpretation for our customers.

Display Bring-Up

Display bring-up is a critical step in any development project – it’s the moment of truth. The initial power-on and functional verification of a new design can be challenging during new product introduction projects. When there are issues during bring-up, you need an experienced engineering team to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
